Get A Girl’s Number

I’m not sure why getting a girl’s number can be such a stumbling block for so many people. This topic seems to come up a lot on my Pick Up Forum. I actually wonder if it’s because some guys put so much importance on it. Really, it is just one step of many in meeting and dating awesome women. It’s not the end all.



With that said, there is a lot of pressure that builds up when guys realize they must get a girl’s number if they have any chance of seeing this particular woman again. Otherwise, she might be lost to the masses forever. Now, the first thing you need to do is take all that pressure off one woman. So what if she gets away? There are other fish in the sea. If you have the attitude that this girl is the end all, be all, you are already setting yourself up for failure.

Therefore, that’s the first step – realize that she’s just a person as if you are and has faults just like the rest of us. Realize that you can’t make her into this amazing thing without spending a whole lot more time than one evening speaking to her.

OK, so let’s assume you’ve followed this advice and removed the girl from her pedestal. You think she is really cool, but still aren’t sure she’s the right one for you. You’d like to spend more time together to find out if you really do get along. That’s the attitude you must have and that’s the attitude you must convey to her. In fact, you can even say something along those lines.
You can tell her you think she’s cool and want to get to know her better.

You also can avoid that and just go to step B, which is what I usually do. Here’s how it works. It is simple, honest and effective. I probably have hooked up with thirty girls using this method. It is easy and works.
Here is what you do: Tell her to give you her phone. Then put your number in it. You can put a funny name like “Bill cute guy at bar” or something else funny.

There are a few other things you could do. You can hand her your phone and then call her on her own phone. Talk to her in a joking way while looking right at her. That way she has your number, you have hers and your set.

Later on, after I leave the bar or club or party, I often like to shoot her a quick text. I usually just say something very short. Please, avoid ridiculously long, drawn-out, boring texts. You don’t have to throw up every emotion you feel about her, but you should let her know that you like her and are thinking of her. Trust me, girls dig this. And if she doesn’t like something like that, then trust me again, she is not into you and at that point, there is nothing you can do to change it.
